How long have you produced custom log furniture?
Operations began in 1996. Since the beginning, this has included Internet Sales to over 40 U.S. states and an overseas Marine Base. In the time that has passed, we have relocated our retail shop and showroom three times, expanding with each move.
What are the various peel styles options?
A 'Clean Peel' is available wherein dimensional logs are power-planed and sanded smooth. For a more rustic look, we offer a 'Skip Peel' style wherein we hand draw-knife the logs, leaving part of the cambium layer. This is followed by a smooth sanding. Lastly, products are also available in Lodgepole or Cedar with all bark intact.
What finish options are available for your products?
We offer a natural oil finish with two coats of linseed oil. A harder, pre-catalized lacquer finish is also available in satin, semi-gloss or gloss. Lastly, Polyurethane and Marine Varnish are also available.
What handles are available for drawers, cabinets, etc?
Log handles are the standard offering. Many additional options are available including our, ever-popular, antler handles and burl handles. Hand-pounded, wrought iron handles by a local blacksmith are also available.

How are your products packaged?
To properly protect against the rigors of shipping, great care goes into our packaging. Custom pallets are constructed for each of our case goods. Many products are shipped as, easy-to-assemble, kits. Packaging includes ample protective stretch-wrap and cardboard. Again, we take great pride in our products. We go to great lengths to ensure they are not damaged in shipping.
What is the recommended cleaning and maintenance procedure for your furnishings?
When dusting or polishing, we recommend the usage of an orange or lemon oil.
